Introduction

Totality Print & Scan (PS) Server can be used to securely publish printers and scanners to one or more

web applications. It can also scan to local files, print local files and link to (and run) web applications.

Installation

Access the Totality PS install file by going to the Totality PS product page at www.WebTotality.com

After providing registration details, an email will be sent with a download link.

Once the file is downloaded, double click to install. Follow installation instructions. Totality PS will run

automatically every time your computer is started.

System Requirements

Operating System: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003/2008.

Memory: 2 GB minimum.

Twain scan drivers must be installed on your computer in order to scan.

Printer drivers must be installed on your computer in order to print.

found on the Totality PS product page at www.WebTotality.com.

Scanning & Printing Locally

Scan to a Local File

1) Choose the Scan button on the home page.

2) Choose a scanner.

3) Click the Scan button. One or more pages will be scanned from the selected scanner and appended to

the current document pages (if any).

4) Click the Save button. Save to a PDF or DOCX file on your local file system.

Print a Local File

1) Choose a file to open. You can open any image (TIF, JPEG, BMP or PNG), Microsoft Word

(docx) file, or PDF file.

2) Choose a printer from the Print Tab.

3) Choose the number of copies.

4) Click the Print button.

Creating Links to Web Applications

1) Click the Settings button on the home page.

2) Click Next twice to get to the Create Web Application Link Buttons page.

3) Enter the name and url of the web application.

4) Click the Finish button.

5) Click the new web application button (Demo in this example). The web application will appear in a

new window.
