Process Technicians (entry level):
• The refinery operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; process technicians operate the refinery on a
rotating shift basis (days and nights) with every other weekend off. This schedule also requires some
holidays to be normally scheduled as work days.
• Process technicians monitor and ensure the proper operation of outside equipment such as
pumps, heat exchangers, product samples etc.
• Entry level positions entail labor intensive duties.
• Starting hourly wages for process technicians is $22.90 (approx) as entry level positions
with potential wages of $29.46/hr (approx) within a two to three year period (approx).
Candidates are encouraged to complete a local Process Technology certification program:
