About Dr. Martin

Dr. Daniel Martin is a Plastic Surgeon certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He completed his undergraduate degree at Queen’s University and his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Toronto. He completed 7 years of post-graduate training in Plastic Surgery at the University of Toronto, which included two years of research in the Surgeon Scientist Program. His Master of Science degree included a thesis on biomaterials and wound healing. He then completed residency training and obtained his certification in Plastic Surgery.

ServicesFace and Neck Lift

Face and neck lift is a procedure that tightens the skin and underlying tissue and reduces the appearance of wrinkles. Incisions are made in the temple, in front and behind the ear, and along the side of the neck to allow for elevation of the skin and soft tissue. The underlying tissue is tightened and the excess loose skin is excised. The surgery in performed under general anesthesia and takes approximately 4 hours. Patients typically stay in hospital overnight, go home the following day and follow up with Dr. Martin several days later.

Upper Blepharoplasty

Upper blepharoplasty is a procedure that rejuvenates the appearance of the upper eyelids. Incisions are made on the upper eyelid to removed excess skin and muscle. Excess fat is also sometimes removed. The surgery is performed under general anesthesia and takes approximately 1.5 hours. Patients go home the day of surgery and follow up with Dr. Martin several days later.
