‘The little hungry penguin’ is a book created to inform people on the dangers of over fishing and how it is affecting other wildlife such a the penguin. It is created with children in mind. The best way to combat the problem is to educate them, this is why I have created a book that can teach children from a young age.

The book is created in illustrator using a character of a penguin to tell the story. The illustrations are simple and use soft pastel colours to help make it easy for younger children to understand.

In this project I had to imagine what Germany would be like in 2051. Basing my ideas on possibility that Germany will be running on renewable energy by then, my idea was that Germany would have a bee sanctuary running along where the Berlin wall once stood. The idea was to help with the decline of the bees and allow them to re-pollenate the city to help grow new plants.

Virtual identity project is based on the idea that people create a ‘life’ online. That people behave differently and have a persona online that is different from the one they have in reality. In real life, identity cards are used to prove who you are, so I created a online identity card to do the same and show who you are when you are online.

These advertisements were created to show such an obvious lie on the front for people to see, unlike actual adverts that can mislead and manipulate. It was created as a serious issue with the problem with advertising but to also have humour to it. It was to show how misleading actual advertisements can be.

This is a soft toy of a character hand sewn by myself that I designed. He is based on research into character design and types of character design. He was first made in illustrator and then made into a soft toy. It is more of a collectable soft toy for adults rather than one designed for children.
