Tori Raine Fiedler was born on April 27, 2004, to Thomas and Dar- cy (Roebuck) Fiedler in Aberdeen, SD. She grew up on the family farm east of Selby and attended Selby Area School. While in school she worked hard and liked seeing her friends and socializing. She also participated in choir. She very much loved her brothers and knew that they cared for her very much, even though they would get on her nerves with all the football and baseball talk. Tori was a big animal lover, especially cats. She had a collection of cats that continued to grow. She also loved her two dogs, Sasha and Ace that she held every morning before school. Her job on the farm was also to collect and wash the chicken eggs. She was often found hanging out at the shop and loved her time with who- ever was stopping by. There was always someone special stopping by (you know who you are). Tori was involved in the United Methodist Church Youth group every week and attended church every Sunday. She was always in her favorite dresses and sat next to Grandma. Tori enjoyed time with her grandma. She was al- ways asking to go to grandma and grandpa's where countless games of cards were played. She also looked forward to her birthday parties she got to have with her friends Ava, Carley and Hannah. Her job babysitting Conway and Kinsley always brought a smile to her face, she loved her time with them very much. Tori had been diagnosed with Epilepsy, something she dealt with daily. She remained strong through all the hospital trips to the childrens hospital in Sioux Falls and was willing to participate in what her doctors thought would help. Through her doctor, Heather Johnson, she was able to go on a Make A Wish Trip, with her family. She chose to go to the Atlantis Resort, because of her fondness for waterparks. She loved the water, whether it was boating with friends or being able to go to Mexico and Jamaica and be on the beaches with her family. She had been through a lot this year after many trips and hospital stays at Mayo in Rochester. The last hospital stay lasted 9 days and she never com- plained, only wanted to find answers to the card she had been dealt (literally). We always knew what a special person she was, kind and loving to all. Now she will be a light to shine upon us. Tori is survived by her parents, Thomas and Darcy Fiedler, four brothers, Derek, Connor, Keaton and Luke, grandparents, Dean and Deb Roebuck, aunts and uncles, Dusty (Andy) Nisbet, Mary Wolf, John (Janice) Fiedler, Connie (Thomas) Swanson, Jim Fiedler, Margaret (Mark) Franks, and nu- merous cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard and Dorothy Fiedler and great grandparents, Omer and Holly Wessel, Ivan and Lorraine Roebuck. • Crossing Over It was just my time to go.

I see you are still feeling sad, And the tears just seem to flow.

We all come to earth for our lifetime, And for some it’s not many years I don’t want you to keep crying You are shedding so many tears.

I haven't really left you Even though it may seem so.

I have just gone to my heavenly home, And I’m closer to you than you know.

Just believe that when you say My name, I’m standing next to you,

I know you long to see me, But there’s nothing I can do.

But I’ll still send you messages And hope you understand,

That when your time comes to “cross over,” I’ll be there.

    To take your hand.
