Real-time monitoring of the performance of all turbines so suboptimal

performance and deviations will be detect in an early stage. In case of an

alarm or event in one of your turbines it is reported to the 24-hour service of

Topwind and will be followed-up immediately.

Monitoring

Move from reactive to pro-active. Topwind Data Analysis provides access to

detailed data and a possibility for implementing site specific changes. This

enables true root cause analysis and real solutions. Common faults and

failures can be found and proper solutions engineered. The technical lifespan

of the turbines is monitored and performance improvements proposals will

be issued.

Data Analysis

All Scheduled and unscheduled works and working procedures will be

checked and optimized. In supplier meetings HSE, performed maintenance

and maintenance plans and processes will be discussed. In case of calamities

such as major components failing our motivated professionals are always

at your service and take the lead. Topwind supervises, coordinates and

manages all activities and work that needs to be done at the right time at the

right place.

Maintenance and Incident Management

Topwind keeps track of the status of all activities and statutory safety

inspections which needs to be performed. Through a web based application

all certifications, safety gear, performed maintenance and persons on site will

be registered. Before actual works can be started the service provider will

apply for a work request. The work request may be denied if non-compliance

with the international safety standards.

Health Safety Environment

Periodic full visual inspections on site to safeguard and improve quality of

service and maintenance parties. If the technical trend and failure analysis of

Topwind Data Analysis have notified deviations Topwind recommends extra

visual inspections. If wear or defects are detected pro-active maintenance

can be performed. In case of irresolvable damages, replacement of

components can be planned and executed on low wind days to prevent

breakdowns and unscheduled downtime.

Topwind financial management fulfills the requirements from financing

parties such like banks. Each model will be custom made but includes

minimum profit & loss, balance sheets, cash flow management and

forecasting. The financial results will be periodically reported in a separate

format in combination with the technical and operational key figures.

Depending on the chosen services of Topwind a monthly report with a

management summary and an overview of the key performances. It includes

technical and operational figures such as availability, PV-Curve (actual and

trend), yield, service MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) and reliability MTBF (Mean

Time Between Failures) MTTF (Mean Time To Failure) but also wind profiles

and financial indicators. If applicable also the technical condition, performed

maintenance activities and results of data analysis and visual inspections is

provided.

Focussed on the costs, quality and performance Topwind liaise with the

manufacturer (OEM) or independent service supplier (ISP) and third parties.

If desired or necessary Topwind will lead supplier selections and tender

proceedings. The specialists of Topwind are highly trained in turbine

maintenance and communicate with similar expertise.

A lifecycle management support for exploitation of the wind park and

for all that it entails. Think of annual general shareholders meetings,

communications with authorities and subsidy granting bodies and all

operational and technical questions about the performance, technical

condition, service & maintenance and relevant questions or discussions

about your wind turbines.
