Randy „the ram” Robinson was a great wrestler lost everything because of a heart quake daughter doesn’t want to see him because he didn’t show

himself for years not a typical raise-and-fall” story, but the long way to death ->

randy has nothing left to lose ex hero who has nothing left but the wrestling and who´s not

able to survive in society all about survive, but the only thing he can hurt is himself,

because he lost everything his efforts for respect, self-esteem and a reason to live fails

That scene shows that Randy´s true family are the fans. He escapes in his dream world, the wrestling scene, and is willing to give his life for this.

Gran Torino

movie about an old man called Walter who fought in the Korea war where he became a lonely, sad man

as his wife dies, his life loses all the fun and sense Walter is ill and knows that he has to die -> he tries to change his

life and to do something good, he wants to help someone who needs him. 

He wants to help his neighbour Thao, a poor and shy korean boy, to become a man

Walter searches a job for Thao and shows him everything important Walter tries to help Thao with his problem with a gang and fails In the end Walter sacrifices his life to safe Thao and his family. He

dies to help Thao. All in all Walter changes his whole character when he gets to know

that he will die. He tries to be a nice man to help other people. This is what he does in his last days. He neither tries to have fun nor to make his life easier. He gives his last days to help a friend.

Five golden house rules of time management 

1. Organisation Before you start make a plan. Write down the most important

details so you can´t forget anything.

2. Order Begin with the work you do not like or hate to do. Then go on with the

easier things.

3. Be good to yourself Have breaks and try to see the positive sides of your work and to enjoy it.

 4. Be concentrated and focus on your workDon’t bring your private life (computer, mobile phone) and your work together because you will fail in the important works.

5. Time managementFocus on one job and do not hurry up because your result will be better.
