Dear Parents: During this quarter in FLES class we will cover the theme of ALL ABOUT ME (Todo acerca de mí). Your child will learn to:(1) respond to questions about themselves (2) tell about their pets, favorite animal, color and sport (3) describe themselves.

As a culmination to this theme, your child will be asked to create a presentation of himself/herself (all about me) using the vocabulary learned in FLES class. This presentation will be started and worked on during class. Please have your child finish anything not completed in class and please practice at home. A hard copy has been given to your child to use in class. An electronic copy is available on the FLES page of your school’s website.

Your child will create a poster for this theme. If your child desires to make something else for their presentation in addition to the poster, they may. Ideas include making a PowerPoint, a video, etc.

The questions below, which will be covered in class, must be included in your child’s presentation. Your child may include more information, but these are the minimum requirements. The questions below are provided for your information.

The following are the questions covered in class and needed for the presentation:

PROYECTO: TODO ACERCA DE MIStudent Instructions

Purpose: You will use “All About Me” Spanish vocabulary and grammar to tell about yourself. You will respond to questions about your age, where you live, your birthday, your siblings, and your pets. You will describe your favorite animal, sport, and color. You will also use adjectives to describe yourself.

Objectives: You will create and give a presentation using learned Spanish grammar and vocabulary on the “All About Me” topic.

Task: You will work on your own to create a presentation on the topic of “All About Me”. You will create a poster to be used when you present to the class. You also have the option of making a powerpoint or video to use during your presentation.

The following 3 categories and the questions below them must be covered in your presentation. The presentation can be no longer than 3 minutes. You may include more, but the minimum requirements are as follows:
