The Toddlers and Preschoolers Succeeding (TAPS)

program prepares young children for school success

by promoting social-emotional skills in a positive

learning environment. TAPS reduces the number

of suspensions/expulsions children experience in

preschool and childcare by equipping them with

the skills to follow directions and stay on task,

communicate well, develop positive relationships

with other children and adults, and to feel good

about themselves. CG&FS offers TAPS in preschools,

childcare centers and Head Start programs.
