Welcome

Church Alive

Call To Worship (Psalm 98, adapted)ONE: Sing a new song to our God,ALL: Who has worked wonders,ONE: Shout to the Most High, all the earth;ALL: Break forth into joyous songs and sing praises.ONE: Let the sea roar, and all that fills it;ALL: The world and those who live in it.ONE: Let the floods clap their hands;ALL: Let the hills sing together for joy before our God.

Anthem Holy Spirit Living Breath of GodHoly Spirit, living Breath of God, breathe new life into my willing soul.Bring the presence of the risen Lord to renew my heart and make me whole.Live in me; give me faith for what I cannot see.Give me passion for your purity; Holy Spirit, breathe new life in me.Holy Spirit, come abide within;, may your joy be seen in all I do.Love enough to cover every sin in each thought and deed and attitude.Kindness to the greatest and the least; gentleness that sows the path of peace.Turn my striving into works of grace. Breath of God, show Christ in all I do.Holy Spirit, from creation’s birth, giving life to all that God has made.Show your power once again on earth, cause your church to hunger for your ways.Let the fragrance of our prayers arise; lead us on the road of sacrifice,That in unity the face of Christ will be clear for all the world to see.Holy Spirit, breathe new life in me.Words & Music by Keith Getty & Stuart Townend. Our Story

Prayer

Scripture John 15:9-17 9 As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you; abide in my love. 10 If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. 11 I have said these things to you so that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be complete. 12 “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13 No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command you. 15 I do not call you servants any longer, because the servant does not know what the master is doing; but I have called you friends, because I have made known to you everything that I have heard from my Father. 16 You did not choose me but I chose you. And I appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask him in my name. 17 I am giving you these commands so that you may love one another.

Refrain:And they’ll know we are Christians by our love,By our love;Yes, they’ll know we are Christians by our love.We will walk with each other; we will walk hand in hand;We will walk with each other; we will walk hand in hand,And together we’ll spread the news that God is in our land: (Refrain)

We will work with each other; we will work side by side;We will work with each other; we will work side by side,And we’ll guard human dignity and save human pride: (Refrain)
