tradisyon.“They thought Ra-madan is some sort of

jihad to revolt. It’spart of [our] reli-gion,” aniya.

“Sa mga Muslim,’pag may binibigay, they demand more.

    tao, paninigarilyo, at

Advice to the young and restlessBuencamino.

Then alleged videos of very  young stars went viral. As a

mother to a celeb (IC Men-doza) who started as a childstar, my heart bleeds for thefamilies of the personalities in-

volved.Show biz can be such a cruel

place, especially for the youngand restless. May these in-trigues remind young stars thatshow biz is no playground, buta battleground.

Beauty queen materialIt was such a delight to meet

the girlfriend of  Jay-R , MicaJavier. She is beauty queen ma-terial. I told her that she shouldtry her luck in the next Binibin-ing Pilipinas pageant.

They’ve been a couple forover two years now. She is alsoa singer who’s into pop-R&B.Mica and Jay-R met at a charity event of  Apl.de.ap.

They wrote a song togethercalled Tonight, and the duet wasincluded in Jay-R’s album  Ele-

vated. It became the No. 1 songin Wave 89.1 and was included

in the Top 10 music videos of Myx in 2013.

Mica admits that she wasdisappointed that her “boo”(their pet name for each other)

wasn’t the grand winner of  ABS-CBN’s “Your Face SoundsFamiliar,” but she feels thatMelai Cantiveros won due toher showmanship and populari-ty.

Apart from music, Mica alsohas her own perfume line calledMNL (www.iheartMNL.com). “Iplan to come up with a scent

for men which will be perfectfor Jay-R.”

Any marriage plans yet?“We have talked about it,”

she says. “But no rush. We still want to fulfill our dreams.”

Since they are both singers, don’t they have professional ri-

valry?“None at all,” she insists. “I

want to make a name for my-self. Jay-R is already made, butit’s no issue. We support each

other.”Jay-R is at the height of suc-

cess, but he will always be with-in Mica’s reach.

Guess list A Sought-after Star has got-

ten away with a little white lieall these years. SS’ “show bizage” is eight years younger thanher real age. SS might as wellbe called “Tinker Bell” becauseshe’s got a severe case of thePeter Pan Syndrome.

Two women with a CommonDenominator bumped into each

other in a studio. Woman A found out from a friend thatWoman B has been bad-mouthing somebody close toher.

It seems WB wants to getWA on her side in her all-out

war against CD. But WA knowsbetter because WB did some-thing mean to her in the past.WA is up to something to settlethe score with WB. May thefiercest woman win!

Close friends of UniqueCeleb are so disappointed withher. When she was recoveringafter major upheavals, herfriend pulled strings for UC.Now that she has landed someprojects, she has become incom-municado. Fame, if not handledproperly, can cause amnesia.
