Term 1 / Semester 1, 2019 commences: Tuesday January 29th. Families and members can access Hume Tennis and Community Centre through the Book A Court system over the Summer holidays. Book A Court: www.humetennis.com.au. Active Summer Holiday Programs Hume Tennis and Community Centre Weekly or Daily Programs Available From 8am - 6pm From $150 per week or $40 per day What goes on? The Active School Holiday Program is for kids who love playing sport and for parents who require affordable holiday programs. Each Clinic day includes the option of before and aſter care. Junior Members can attend 3 days over the holidays Junior Members and their families are reminded as part of your junior membership you have access to three days over the school holidays - one each week. Dates: Week 1: Monday 7th January - Friday 11th January Week 2: Monday 14th January - Friday 18th January Week 3: Monday 21st January - Friday 25th January January 14th - January 19th, 2018 January Hume will host it’s fourth annual Melbourne Wheelchair Tennis Open. The event promises to be the biggest yet - this year along side the main events will be an international junior camp. The camp will have players from Asia and Australia training for two days prior to the ju- nior tournament. There is lots of family and community activities planned for the week so we encourage members and their friends to come down to see some incredible tennis. Entry is free We are also please to announce Stockland and Victorian State Govern- ment as partners of the event and thank them for their support. Make sure you come down for the Stockalnd Community night on Wednesday Jan 16th - it promises to be a lot of FUN!!! Congratulations to the Ladies night team who won our 1st ladies night premiership
Hume Tennis for the 1st time competed in Tennis Victoria’s Premier League.
Each year we welcome overseas players to compete in tournaments and train with our players.
The proud smile on the junior players faces when they receive rewards brings a smile to all of us.

We have had another amazing year of tennis with so many new members and teams now represeting the club. Social Tennis con-tinues to grow and a big thankyou the the amazing Glen Moore.This Summer promises to be exciting with the introduction of the Australian Open Live Site - I hope everyone gets a chance to come down to the club and enjoy the community atmosphere. Thanks to the amazing Hume team and members-for making our club such a special place to play tennis and hang out - Merry Xmas Tim.

Australian Open Trip - Wednesday Jan 23rd

On Wednesday 23rd January the Hume team will be heading into the 2019 Australian Open for a day of tennis and activities. With so many things to do at the AO, on top of watching tennis - we know the kids will have an awesome time (parents are welcome as well). If you are interested in coming please call the office. This trip is always really popular

Australian Open Live Site
This is something members and friends should be excited about. Hume Tennis is turning into an Australian Open interactive Live Site. What does that mean? We will be installing a HUGE outdoor LED screen and playing the Open from 11am each day to late - come down and the watch tennis and then jump on the court and copy your favourite player. There will also be tennis activations over the two weeks, live music on certain nights plus much more. So if you can’t get to the Open - Hume has the next best thing. PS - For the adults we have licenced this event - so enjoy a beer or a wine while you watch the tennis.
Special mention the B Boys team who came from fourth to win the premiership and to team mangaer Joe - great job.
