TOBACCO AND PERCEPTION OF ASTHMA CONTROL IN CATALONIA. ASMADUAL STUDY OBJECTIVE: To describe the perception of control of asthma symptoms in relation to exposure to tobacco smoke in adults asthmatic patients in Catalonia METHODOLOGY: Descriptive study. 55 physicians of the 4 provinces of Catalonia participated who applicate one questionnaire to first 20 adultls ashmatic patients. The dates were analized by the SAS 9.0 program CONCLUSIONS: The maority of patioents believe tahta tobacco is hermfuk to theri asthma, being significantly higher in patients with worse control The stop being exposed to tobacco smoke is beneficial in the perception of symptoms regardless of the degree of asthma control.
