CHILDREN'S WORSHIP BULLETINS AND BAGS are now available in the narthex. Bulletins

are available for ages 3-6 and 7-12. Please return the bags to the basket after service.

KNITTING FOR THE HAITI BABY SHOWER. Today from 4-5:30 p.m., knitters and those who

would like to learn how to knit are invited to Oakland Presbyterian Church. We will be working on

baby blankets (beginners) and sweaters (advanced) for the PDA Baby Shower to be held by the

Presbytery on August 29. No sign up required. Beginners, plese bring #7 needles and 6 skeins of

pastel colored Sugar & Cream cotton yearn. Advanced, please bing #7 needles and 2 skeins of pastel

colored Sugar and Cream cotton yarn. Patterns and guidance provided. Questions? Call Janet Duffy

The NOMINATING COMMITTEE is starting its work. If you would like to suggest possible

nominees or if you'd like to be considered, please speak to Jamie Williams, Kim Moredock or Jeff

Sanders.

A CALLED PRESBYTERY MEETING will be held on August 15 at Clinton College and will be

hosted by Hermon Presbyterian.

DISCIPLE 1 and 2 will start in September. An organizational meeting will be held on Sunday,

August 22 following worship. If you plan to attend either class, please plan to be present. We will be

determining the number of books to order and the best time for the classes to meet. If you are unable

to attend, please speak to Shane or Susan Owens.

OLDER ADULT OF THE YEAR Luncheon Nominations due by August 31. The Luncheon will

be held on September 21st at 10:30 a.m. at Bethelwoods.
