According to God’s Word, being part of a church family is important. The selection of a Bible teaching, Christ-centered church home is vital to spiritual growth. Our mission as a church is to be a people who increas-ingly know and love Jesus Christ and from joy in Him are continually seeking to make Him known until He comes again. We invite you to be part of our church family and experience the love of Christ through His people.

How Do I Join? At the close of each worship service, the Pastor will extend an “invitation” for anyone who would like to trust Christ for salvation, become part of our church family, or make any other spiritual decision. Simply walk to him and he or another counselor will assist you with your decision.

FREE FUNDRAISER! The Ronald McDonald House minis-ters to families with sick or injured children. You can help support their efforts by collecting the pop tabs from aluminum cans and dropping them off at the Welcome Center or the Pre-school Check-in Counter. This is a great way for kids to learn about helping others and costs nothing to participate!

RECYCLED INK CARTRIDGES Help us save money on office supplies by donating your empty ink cartridges so that we can recycle them! Drop them off in Cindy’s mailbox in the office.

ADULT LEADERS NEEDED! This year, VBS will be held on June 20-24 from 9AM-12NOON (NOTE NEW TIME!) Adults, we need your help to take kids on an adventure like no other, deep within the mysterious sea. As kids submerge themselves in God’s Word, they will discover that Jesus didn’t just see what’s on the outside of people. He looked deep down on the inside. It takes a small army of servant-minded people to pour them-selves into the lives of the kids who attend our VBS. Please prayerfully consider what role you might play in this important annual outreach! We have key volunteer posi-tions that need to be filled, including Bible Story, Games, Publicity and Decorating. Check the sign-up sheet at the Welcome Center to see which positions are available. RENT-A-STUDENT Help our students raise funds for summer camp while they help you with projects around your home! Today after the service, we will hold our Rent-A-Student fundraiser, so remain in the sanctuary and “bid” on the services the students can provide. Please be sure to pick up younger kids from Children’s Church before the fundraiser begins! If you have any questions, please contact Troy Konemann.

Join us on Wednesday, May 18 at 6:30PM for our AWANA Awards night program. Help us support and celebrate all of the hard work from our kids and volunteers!

GOING AWAY PARTY Join us for a Going Away Party for Ralph and Geneva Wilson on Friday, May 20 at 4pm. All are welcome! The Wilsons are moving back up north to be closer to their children, so come say “Farewell!” This will be a potluck, so please bring a dish to share. Sign up in the Welcome Center. 2016 GRADUATES If you know a 2016 graduate, please submit their name and date of graduation to Troy or Tammy Konemann. We will recognize them and give them a gift on Graduate Sunday, June 12.
