Looking north towards valley slope down to Wapiti River -Slide movement down-valley (into photo) -Breadth of the slide and headscarp cracks along highway alignment (slide dip perpendicular to highway) -Highway pavement recently newly overlaid about 1-2 week prior to June 07 inspection. Therefore, slide movement distress of previous pavement crack and contortion settlement of road grade not noticeable during this June 2007 inspection.
