How to Identify Perfect Squares
To identify a perfect square you must ask yourself is there a number that when multiplied by itself can give you the number that is under the Square Root symbol.
If the number 25 is asked if it is a perfect square you must think is there a number that when multiplied by itself gives you that number. And the answer is yes. 5x5 gives you 25. So 25 is a perfect square.
