Introduction
• TNAU PDB (TNAU Proteome DataBase) is a data repository of various biotic and abiotic stress related proteins which are identified from various organism using proteomics approach.

Need for Black Gram Database• The basic intention of this database is to provide the detailed
information about proteome of black gram.• Results in improved understanding of adaptive and general
protective mechanisms, conferring enhanced stress tolerance to plants.
• Assists in building a comprehensive platform for future Black gram proteomics

Generation of Data
• Blackgram seeds were artificially aged at 40°C (8.98% moisture content) for 6 days, and the total protein was extracted from embryos of the dry seeds.
• Two-dimensional electrophoresis was performed and the differentially expressed proteins were identified by matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization-time of flight mass spectrometry.
