TMS-2A

The TMS-2A is a bi-amped* 3-way line array speaker enclosure, featuring Turbosound's unique des ign pr inciples in a compact. full-ra nge package .

The TMS-2A suits any application where compactness and ease of ha ndling a re as important as top audio quality It's ideal for theatres, halls, clubs, smell band reinforcement and discotheques (where it can be used in conjunction with the TSW-124 sub-woofer) .

The drive units are: a cus tom -designed 15"bass dri ver. loaded with a paten ted TurboBass™ device; a 10" midrange driver, again made to our own specification, and loaded with a patented Turbovtid' M device, and a modified I" high frequency driver loaded with a proprieta ry flare .

The TurboMid"' de v ice creates a seamless m idrange covering the entire vocal range.

The enclosure projects a controlled, cohesive wavefront with excellent trans ient response, very low distortion a nd highly accurate reproduction of the vital mid range, while the 'high-Q' design pro duces a tigh t 'beam' of sound, which makes itideal for multiple-unit arrays.

The compactness of Turbosound's enclosures. and their ligh t weight. make them ideally suited for flying.

To mak e the most of this capability each Turb osound full -range enclosure is designed to make the rigging ofa flown system as st ra ightforward as possible.

For the TMS-2A optional flying rings are available which bolt into factory-fitted mounting points on th e LOP and back of tho ca binets.

By adjusting the rigging sys tem's tensions it's a simple matter to achieve tho cor rect dispersion a ngle between units . The engineer ca n arrang e the sys tem to get as d ose to the point-source ideal as possible with minimal rigg ing problems a nd fast set-up and take -down times.
