Bright Solutions practically invented R134a leak detection in the early 1990s. Now it is doingso again, with its new Eco-Brite Dye.In 2008, Bright Solutions became part of Keystone Aniline Corporation, the world’s largest

seller of fluorescent dyes. The objective was simple: develop a solution for finding leaks in ACsystems that not only performed well, but was also environmentally friendly and did not raise thecosts to our customers.Other dyes contain not only an AC lubricant and a fluorescent dye, but also a large percentage

of other chemicals. It is these chemicals that over time can damage the elastomers and metals inAC systems. These are also the chemicals that need to be disposed of after service or can leak intothe ground. Bright Solutions can now provide a solution that is essentially chemical-free, otherthan the AC lubricant and the fluorescent dye. As the fluorescent dye chosen for use is very stable,non-toxic and environmentally-friendly, this means that the Enviro-Dye formula takes on theproperties of the AC compressor lubricant which is already in the vehicle’s system.
