CASE STUDY – ALDIThe revised f-gas regulations came in to force from 1st January 2015.

Part of the new initiative is to ban the use of virgin HFCs with a GWP of 2500 and above in refrigeration equipment with a charge size of greater than 40 tonnes CO2 equivalent, from 2020. Project managers from TJ were tasked with removing 12 tonnes of R404a and replacing it with the more efficient AND Lower GWP R407F to comply with the new F-Gas Regulation across the ALDI estate.

CASE STUDY – MARTIN McCOLLS Following a site audit, TJ Refrigeration’s installation department assessed that installing a refrigeration packaged system would increase energy savings in comparison to the conventional units already installed.

Low start up amperage and cycling compressors have shown to be a success here in achieving energy efficiency.

CASE STUDIES

Nationwide installation of heat recovery refrigeration packs across Aldi sites using waste heat TJ Refrigeration was able to channel this to re heat the store.

Due the energy saving capabilities TJ Refrigeration have been appointed as approved installer of this technology.

Walls Cabinets severely under performing with a high usage of parts, TJ Refrigeration entered discussions to improve the high usage of Refrigeration Parts.

Our in house KPI and expertise identified the need for a twice-yearly maintenance programme. Following the implementation of these maintenances, parts usage dropped by 48%.
