*In Lauterbrunnen is a parking garage at the entrance of the

village on the left (approx. CHF 70.– / week). The elevator takes

you to the 7th floor which connects to the railway platform. The

train leaves Lauterbrunnen for Wengen every 30 minutes, and

from 8:30 pm approx. once an hour until 2:40 am. The train ride

takes 16 minutes (approx. CHF 7.– each way).

WENGEN, JUNGFRAU REGION

Rich in tradition and free from motor cars, Wengen lies at the foot of the

famous Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau summits in the Bernese Oberland and is

the perfect starting out point for nature lovers. In no time at all, you can glide

up to Männlichen by cable car or travel by cog-wheel railway to Kleine

Scheidegg and the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe. As well as the extensive ski

region, ideal for both beginners and experts, you’ll find wonderful winter

walking trails, sledge runs, and a natural ice rink. In summer, the area be-

comes a family-friendly hikers’ paradise with 160 km of signposted mountain
