Titanium Dioxide CG300for catalytic preparations
Its characteristics are high specifi c surface, very low content of Na and K and lower amount of bound sulphate and hydrogen sulphate ions. Its main application area is preparation of Claus catalyst either as the only ingredient or mixed with aluminium oxide. It is highly tolerant to sulphates and, in comparison with aluminium oxide, it brings higher resistance to thermal aging and it is more
active to COS and CS2 hydrolysis. CG300 can be also used for ceramic pigments preparation where, in comparison with pigmentary TiO2, it shows higher reactivity. Excellent purity and high specifi c surface enables to use it also in photocatalytic applications. Manufacturing process leads to a product with reduced dusting but preserved processing properties.
