TCSR Mission:

• To Assist the Cancer Center investigators and other members of the Georgetown University research community with all tissue culture related aspects of their research.

Services:

• Maintain an expanding collection of human and animal cell lines

• Purchase, prepare, and test the highest quality tissue culture reagents which are then made available to investigators

• Provide a mycoplasma testing service

Services:

• Provide EBV immortalization of B cells

• Provide DNA preparation and genetic fingerprinting services

• Assist with the establishment of primary cultures

• Provide large scale tissue culture services

Services:

• Maintain shared tissue culture space

• Provide a cryo-storage facility

• Provide expert consultation and training in the use of tissue culture and related techniques.
