Composition no.1 : Rule of Thirds Imagine that your image is divided into 9 equal segments by 2

vertical and 2 horizontal lines rule of thirds says that youshould position the most important elements in your scenealong these lines, or at the points where they intersect

Composition no.2 : Balancing Elements Placing your main subject off-centre can leave a void in the scene

which can make it feel empty. You should balance the "weight" ofyour subject

TIPS USING SMARTPHONE1. Always Have Your iPhone With You, Since the smartphone is a device

that serves multiple purposes, its always there with you to capture thephoto-worthy moments in your lifeespecially the unexpected ones

    2. Use Two Hands for Stability 3. Avoid Using the Digital Zoom Box, Also avoid using the camera to

shoot high-speed action, sports, and wildlife. Lets face it, cameraphones were never designed to compete with higher-end DSLRcameras

    4. Keep Compositions Simple, When shooting with your smartphone, always look for easily readable patterns. Everything in the image shouldcontribute to the mood and emotion you want to convey. Pattern

repetition creates a rhythm that the eyes like to follow 5. Remember That Light Is Key, Part I , the quality of light can determine

the success of a photo. When shooting portraits, avoid sunny and directlight on faces, which can create harsh shadows (and a lot of squinting)

TIPS USING SMARTPHONE6. Look Out for Good Reections, Reections are one of my favorite

visual themes. You see them everywhere you go, in water puddles, windows, mirrors, and shiny objects

    7. Look for People or Objects to Create Sense of Scale, Its alwaysgood to try to include a person or object in your scene to give a senseof scale.

8.Look for New and Exciting Angles, the importance of shooting fromunique angles and perspectives. Get high, get low, and always try tond a fresh angle.

    9. When Shooting Portraits, Look for Soft Light, We all want to shootportraits of those we care about, and the smartphone is a great tool forthis. Because of its size, its not as intimidating as a large camera or

lens, which often causes subjects to freeze.

    10. Look for Abstract Shots and Humor , Some of my favoritesphotographs are of the quirky street art encountered when exploringnew locations. Look for offbeat perspectives that can include humor, shadows, and reections.
