Reindustrialisation, green chemicals and new value chains
EU Policies should be properly executed (a systemic approach)
Clusters for green chemicals and EU reindustrialisation
Conclusions
• Green chemicals industries are created and will better grow around cross sectorial clusters,
• Access to biomass and logistics can have different models (Champagne or Delta regions are two cases),
• Access to finance can be favored through participation in clusters,• Clusters bring together companies (feedstocks-upstream and
clients-downstream),
•
•
Conclusions
• Cluster will boost cross border cooperation for SMEs working with green chemicals and contribute to their internationalisation,
• Clusters need the presence of big companies to help in open innovation issues,
• EU Funds are available to develop industrial capacities in the field of green chemicals but a systemic approach for supporting bio economy is needed.
