Watch keeps on being one of the most powerfulinstrument a man may wear, one that gathersthe widest amount of signs compared to its size.Responsibility, an organi-zation sense, efficiencyand seriousness trans-lated into a single object- these values still stand on a first row. Decisionmaking, which goes along, would also in-clude the choice of the object itself, its identity : watch aims at showing itself. Longtime a techni-cal wonder, watch stays faithful to this dimension

of magics, a level of hu-man abilities lead to an edge in terms of mecha-nics or electronics : a wit-ness of how beautifully smart we may be. Paying attention to the way watches stopped being solely utilitarian items, Lexon’s attitude makes full sense. Identifying many new goals, embra-cing an enlarged functio-nal field, Lexon develops an ambitious watch line, precisely pointing out its evolution and setting its own time.

La montre reste l’un des plus puissants ins-truments portés par l’homme, l’un de ses plus riches support de signes. La responsabilité, un sens de l’organisation où se

traduisent l’efficacité et le sérieux, y occupent une place première. La prise de décision, qui s’y asso-cie, est aussi celle liée au choix de l’identité de l’ob-jet : la montre se montre. Longtemps prodige tech-nique, elle conserve cette dimension d’une magie de capacités humaines hors du commun quela mécanique ou l’électro-nique mettent en oeuvre : elle est un témoin d’intel-ligence. C’est aussi parce que ses usages ont de-puis longtemps dépassé le seul utilitarisme, que l’intervention de Lexon prend tout son sens. L’at-tention portée au champ élargi des fonctions de l’objet, l’identification pré-cise de leur évolution, a permis la composition d’une collection ambi-tieuse.
