FOREWORD

Photocircles is a set of photo based on the Zen concept of "One in All, All in One".

All the images have the same layout, a circle in the right upper corner and a diagonal.

INTRO

Man has divided time in portions to measure and dominate it. In these few pages I would like to emphasize each unit of measure of time analyzing it with some pictures that describe an event that take place in a period of time measurable with that unit of time.

So in Chapter 1 you will see something about seconds, in chapter 2 about minutes and so on. In chapter 8, I try to describe what has happened to time after that Albert Einstein has broken the classical mechanicistic conception.

It is a question of seconds, you take one match, light it up, than you look for few seconds to the glowing flame and it is time to turn it off.
