1 TIM NETWORK The TIM Network Achieving Safety and Congestion Reduction One Responder at a Time Purpose The TIM Network provides multidisciplinary traffic incident management practitioners with access to timely and accurate access to materials and subject matter experts in support of the National Traffic Incident Management Coalition initiatives. Vision A recognizable national voice on multidisciplinary traffic incident management issues and clearly demonstrated benefits of the National Unified Goal (NUG) for traffic incident management. Network Advisory Board The Board will develop a start-up action plan, facilitate recruitment of new members, and identify and coordinate activities for working groups. Activities will also include development of promotional materials, a web conference series, and participation in TIM related conferences and workshops. Practice and Procedures Working Group Charged with development of multidisciplinary traffic incident management practices and procedures and response to inquires for review of products which contain recommended practices. Communications and Training Working Group Tasked with identification, development, and distribution of Coalition communications and training products to State, regional, and local TIM responders and other relevant stakeholder groups. Research Working Group This working group will identify, track, review, and impact research opportunities projects and programs through participation on research committees and review panels.
