I love summer! Things are moving along at a swift pace at the Elks. We have several events in progress. The Golf Outing, which will be Sunday, August 20th at Clinton Heights, is in preparation. Help out your club by sponsoring a hole, or have your place of employment sponsor one. The Heritage Festival, September 15th - 17th, is coming

together. Kid’s Corner plans are under way, and the bands are booked! Make sure to join us on the balcony with your mimosa to watch the parade.

I still need officers. If you know of anyone that you think would love to give back to the club in a service manner email me (ER@tiffinelks.com) and nominate them. I will reach out and see if I can add them to the team.

IMPORTANT:

You may only receive one more newsletter in the mail unless you take action now. The costs of sending a paper newsletter have led us to begin a phase out of the program. We will continue to email this newsletter forever! To keep receiving this newsletter in the mail do one of the following:

Call the bar and leave a message saying you want to keep getting the paper newsletter.

Email ER@tiffinelks.com with your name and address requesting that you still wish to receive the paper newsletter.

Next year, around April 1st, if you still wish to receive the paper newsletter there will be an additional fee that you must check on your dues statement. For the duration of this Elk year, no addition charges will be levied for the paper newsletter.

FROM THE TRUSTEES…

Summer has arrived and that is bringing some changes to our Wednesday night dinners. We have decided to put together a menu each week. This menu will have choices that allow diners to choose their meals instead of just having 1 or 2 options. There will be a dinner each Wednesday starting at 6 p.m. with prices ranging anywhere from $8.99 to $15.99. We are hoping this diversity in the menu will allow more members to come and enjoy! The birthday dinners will continue on the 3rd Thursday of each month. Members with birthdays in that month will still receive a free meal. Hope to see you one of these Wednesday nights. Build a Burger will be Saturday, June 3rd starting at 6 p.m.

Event planning has begun for The Golf Outing which will be Sunday, August 20th at Clinton Heights. We have also started planning for the Heritage Festival, The Sportsman Raffle, and The Fall District Meeting which will be held at our Lodge for the first time in many years. If you would like to help with the planning of any or all of these events or help out the day of these events please contact a trustee.

These donations are provided through the B.P.O.E. #94 accounts with the Tiffin Charitable Foundation. As required by the State of Ohio, 25% of our gambling revenues are directed to the Elks fund with The Tiffin Charitable Foundation. We also supplement these funds by holding numerous and varied acitivities and fund raising events throughout the year. Please join us in this cause by channeling some of your annual charitable contributions to:
