Please read this owners guide carefully before installation. Failure to follow these instructions fully or incorrect installation may damage your new TIC products and any third party equipment used in your new system installation. This may also Void any warranty for your new TIC products. If you are unsure of your ability to fully understand and fully complete the installation of this TIC product, please consult a professional installer.
Note: TIC Corporation always recommends that you test your product and its components prior to exterior installation. Test your components near a mains power outlet and, if required, receiver amplifier sources somewhere convenient, perhaps inside. Ensure all components are working smoothly and correctly before exterior placement and operation.
This TIC Corporation remote control wireless acoustic rock speaker system can conduct wireless transmissions to a wide frequency of broadcast sounds including music. Operation power is in accordance with FCC and CE regulations used widely in point to point transmissions of broadcast sound. This TIC model can accommodate and control the transmissions of CD’s, MP3’s, DVD’s, iPod®’s, AM/FM radio signals, microphones and similar inputs.
Before you begin the installation of your new TIC outdoor product, please carefully select the locations of your new TIC products.
IInn GGeenneerraall……
1. Select a reasonably level surface for the installation of your new TIC outdoor speakers. For surface speakers this will prevent movement or excessive vibration during use. This will also ensure more uniform sound dispersion.
2. *Wireless: In normal circumstances we suggest placing the transmitter at a height of 1 meter above the receiving units. (Because land will absorb radio waves produced by the transmitter) Within the maximum area of coverage (unobstructed), the zero boundary point is 100 meters or approx. 300 ft.. Reception will gradually decay when it is beyond the zero boundary point. At this time you can raise the loud speaker, such as place it at a height of 30 CM+ above the earth. The reception of the wireless rock speakers will be greatly improved.
3. Do not place your TIC outdoor speakers in a depression or area where water pools or in the direct path of garden sprinklers.
4. Wherever possible avoid long term exposure of your new TIC outdoor speakers to excessive high temperatures, chlorinated solvents, acids such as those often contained in fertilizers and other solvents which have the potential to eventually wear the components prematurely.
5. There is no requirement for the customer to open this unit for any kind of operation or maintenance. Doing so will void the warranty.
6. Ensure base main power switch is in the “off” position when not in use, otherwise the unit still consumes power in the “stand by” mode..
7. Avoid any shocks, high vibration, collisions or sudden impacts to the speaker unit or components.
Once the transmitter is connected and input selected and running, hold the Remote Control unit somewhere near your wireless speaker to begin with and press the “ON” button of your remote control. The red LED light should flash. Then please bring up the volume “VOL+” to an acceptable level.
Normally, the Red LED of the Remote Control will flash on in use. If you activate the remote control and the red LED light does not light or dimmed, then it is time to replace your remote control batteries.
There are two LED lights to show the operation of the receiving rock speaker units. While working/ receiving a sound signal normally, the Green LED light is “on”. The Red LED light is not. If the Red LED light is “on” or flashing then it is time to replace the wireless speaker unit’s batteries.
The base of the TIC WRS010 wireless rock speakers contains the battery and/ or mains cable functions. Two led lights show 1. Whether the unit is powered (Green) or 2. Whether the units batteries are drained (Red).
*Always use the silicone enclosed “on/off” switch before moving or using the unit to replace the batteries etc. Using the remote control pad on/ off switch is not the same. You must use the silicone enclosed rocker switch to ensure the unit is off or it still consumes power.
The WRS010 broadcast unit provides an uninterrupted signal to the wireless rock speakers for 300’ (100m) if unobstructed. The level of obstruction, if any, will mitigate the sound performance of this unit. The unit provides for eight separate channels for clearer listening once you press the “CH” button on the transmitter. Try to keep the transmitter unit higher than the receiving units for clarity of signal transmission.
Please carefully remove the red dust cap and attach the antenna, vertically upward, to the back of the transmitter unit during set-up. Tighten carefully by hand only. Connect the mains power transformer and any audio inputs you desire. Switch the transmitter “on”, the red light will glow.
The WRS010 wireless rock speakers full featured remote. Look for the Red led light to flash when any control is activated
We equip each remote control transmitter with a MN21/23 or A23 battery or equivalent. These batteries require replacing when the remote controls distance becomes shorter or failures occur in the remote controls operation.

Disclaimer; TIC Corporation will in no way be held responsible for the improper or unsecured installation of this product. Any and all damage arising from the installation or use of this product is the purchaser and final installer’s sole responsibility.
MMaaiinntteennaannccee…… Occasional maintenance of your TIC products cannot hurt and may help greatly. Inspect the installation area regularly removing and twigs, dirt or particulate matter from impeding or building up around the output grill area. The units may be cleaned using very mild detergents like dishwashing liquid if desired. A hose with clean water may also be used but please avoid using high pressure or forcing water into the grill or acoustic ports.
In very cold climates with moderate to heavy snowfall an old trick from the major theme parks we supply world wide is to place a plastic bag over the unit for the winter or periods it may be not in use or under such snowfall.

Problem Please Check
No Sound
Transmitter is not initialized – Re-check the power is “on” at the transmitter and try changing “channels at the transmitter.
Check the audio signal source both to and from the transmitter. Try another cable to ensure integrity.
Check the receiver amplifier, if used, is powered “on” at the mains, is not on “mute”, has no headphones attached and that the Channels used for the transmitter/ exterior speakers (usually A or B) is in operation.
Refer to the owners guide that came with your receiver amplifier.
Check the “on” switch at the Remote Control to make sure the speaker is switched “on”.
Check volume control on your Remote Control is switched high enough for volume to be heard.
Check the “Green” indicator light on your speakers to ensure they are receiving a signal.
Ensure you speakers are receiving power. Red LED if batteries low.
Ensure your speakers are receiving a signal. Green LED.
No Sound from one speaker
Check the “balance” control on your in house receiver amplifier is “equal”.
Check all connections and cable to and from, or the integrity of the transmitter source to the inoperable speaker.
Check the batteries or power source(s) to the inoperable speaker.
Left or Right speaker sound has intermittent or rough sound; the distance of the remote control volume controller becomes nearer
Loudspeaker is flashing red light – the battery of the loudspeaker or remote control will soon be out of power. Please replace batteries.
Check the “range” by temporarily bringing the exterior speakers closer to the transmitter source.
Lift the transmitter height to see if this has any effect.
One speaker sounds distorted, lower volume or “different”
Follow same procedure as above for “No Sound”.
