This quarter is certainly going fast and I don’t see it slowing down! Our scheduled Parent-Teacher conferences are taking place this afternoon and this evening. Most parents have signed up to utilize this great opportunity for parents and teachers to meet and discuss the strengths, concerns, and plans moving forward regarding their child(ren)’s academic success. We (parents, teachers, and administrators) all have the same goals for our students; conferences offer the chance to look at where we now and discuss together how to get to our next destination. Congratulations to those who competed in a Fall sport! I hope everyone (athletes, parents, and coaches) enjoyed the season and had a lot of positive experiences, memories, and friendships throughout. Special congratulations to our 5th and 8th grade volleyball teams who finished the season as league champions! Way to go, Raiders! I heard on the radio this morning that today is three weeks from Thanksgiving and seven weeks from the day after Christmas. This seems to always be a fast and busy time of year. Know that in this season especially, we are thankful for all of you who make our community wonderful; you’re all in our prayers. Dress Appropriately for Recess As the temperatures continue to drop, please be aware that we will have the students go outside as long as the actual temperature is at least 20 degrees. Even if your child does not think it is cold enough to bring a coat, please assist us in enforcing proper attire is brought to school. I would recommend that you have an extra set of hats, gloves, and pajama pants (for girls to wear under their jumpers/skirts) left in your child’s backpack or locker. involve closing down part of the parking lot on November 7th and 8th. The parkinglot in between the school and Parish Office / Activities Building, will be closedafter the busses drop of the students on Thursday November 7th, and will continueto be closed through Friday November 8th. The parking lot east of the ActivitiesBuilding (near Famous Daves) will still be accessible from Monroe Street. Thankyou for your patience!

Digital Empowerment JEANS PASS OPPORTUNITYDigital Empowerment Project is coming to Christ the King on Thursday,November 21st. Captain Scott Frank, a retired Internet Crimes Against ChildrenInvestigator, will be coming to speak to parents (open to all parents) and middleschool students (grades 6-8). The parent presentation will help to educate parentsso they can support their children in making good decisions online. The studentpresentation will focus on empowering students to make safe and healthy choicesonline. All parents who attend will receive one jeans pass per child.

It's getting colder!

Please remember to send yourchildren to school with proper winterweather attire. All students will needwarm coats, hats, gloves/mittens andgirls will need pajama pants or tights togo under their uniforms!

Look for the El Camino Real flyer that came home

in yesterday's Brown Envelope.

A paper copy of flyer must be presented on the 17th for Christ

the King to receive the proceeds from your meal.
