Điều 3: interpretation of terms ( giải thích thuật ngữ)

1. Hoạt động xây dựng: Construction activities- quy hoạch xây dựng: construction master plans- dự án đầu tư xây dựng công trình: investment projects for construction of works- khảo sát xây dựng: construction survey- thiết kế xây dựng công trình: design of construction works- thi công xây dựng công trình: execution of building works- giám sát thi công xây dựng công trình: supervision of execution of building works- quản lý dự án đầu tư xây dựng công trình: management of investment projects for construction of works- lựa chọn nhà thầu trong hoạt động xây dựng: selection of contractors in construction activities- các hoạt động khác có liên quan đến xd công trình: other activities related to construction works.

2. công trình xây dựng: Construction works- vật liệu xây dựng: building material- được xd theo thiết kế : is built in accordance with a design- công trình công cộng: public construction works- nhà ở: residential housing- công trình công nghiệp: industrial works- công trình giao thông: traffic works- công trình thuỷ lợi: irrigation systems (he thong’ tuoi’ tieu thi dung’ hon)- công trình năng lượng: energy works- các công trình khác : other works
