This system is based on the test specification for the AMCA-210/85 “Laboratory Methods of Testing Fans for Rating”. This system provide an online measurement for the Fan Characteristic Curve and the System Resistance Curve of the CPU Cooler、Thermal Module、and other air

flow system。The design concept is based on the modularization of the components, the system is therefore be able to be a function of Inlet Chamber or Outlet Chamber。

Outlet Chamber, easy to convert with each other。 Be able to measure the system (Sink or thermal module) resistance
curve either on the inlet method or on the outlet method With fast processing capability of PC, people can automatically
capture the massive test data in a short time and reach the objective value based on statistical theory, with extremely high reproducibility.

of the fan 、 voltage 、 amperage and static pressure, with high accuracy. And it can provide features chart output, performance monitoring, and other assisting functions at any time.
The output include the system resistance curve 、 fan curve 、 fan power output 、 fan total pressure curve 、 fan dynamic curve 、 fan electric current curve 、 fan rpm curve and fan efficiency curve. All test procedures are proceeding automatically; the results can be instantly displayed on the screen and saved to the hard disk simultaneously. RTF file, automatically generated, can help people email all the data to the customer easily, without rewriting word files.
The system provide the calibration of the pressure、calibration of the flow element and an adjustable coordinate.
The test program could be updated for free anytime by ACL laboratory of ESS Department of Tsing-Hua university, Taiwan.

The system can be chained large, medium and small three modules wind tunnel, measured fan less than 4cm, fan in the range of 4 to 8 cm and fan in the range of 8 to 25.4 cm, so the test has 6 functions, respectively. for: Small wind tunnel:
Fan diameter less than 4 cm: Inlet and outlet fan curve, inlet and outlet system resistance curves
Medium wind tunnel: Fan diameter in the range of 4 to 8 cm: Inlet and outlet fan curve,
inlet and outlet system resistance curves Large wind tunnel:
Fan diameter in the range of 8 to 25.4 cm: Inlet and outlet fan curve, inlet and outlet system resistance curves
