To make my idea successful I need to make sure that the opening sequence builds up enough tension that it makes the viewer want to continue watching instead of switching off.

To do this I need to make the audience ask questions and crave the answers to them so they continue to follow the story. As well as this I need to make sure the characters are relatable to my target audience.
