April 8, 201 Dear Parents, Saint Paul School has been and will continue to be a busy place! On Wednesday, author Sarah L. Thomson visited Grade 3 and 4 students. Her most recent book, Secrets of the Seven: The Eureka Key hit bookstore shelves just one day prior, and autographed copies were made available for our students to purchase. This weekend we welcome you to view the musical performance of Seussical Jr. Students in Grade 4 through 8 will wow you with their costumes, acting and singing talents! The State of the School Address will be on Tuesday, April 12 at 6:30 pm in the gymnasium. All parents are welcome to attend. Earlier Tuesday morning, students will hear from parishioner Mr. Pilalas about his upcoming journey to Lourdes. While traveling, he will present the prayer petitions from our school community. Please remember, morning drop off does not begin until 8:10a. Students will not be supervised by faculty until this time. Next week we enter Science Week! Please come visit classrooms on Wednesday, April 13 at 1:30 pm to view all of the wonderful projects. Don't forget to stop b the gym for the Grade 5 through 8 science fair projects! Wednesday evening at 6:00p all Middle School parents are welcome to visit projects again and Regional Science Fair winners will be announced. Our warm weather uniform does not start until Monday, April 25. Students will be issued a uniform notice / conduct slip if no in proper uniform. Sincerely, Ms. Lisa M. This will ensureconfidentiality, as you will not be submitting your private financial informationto a school employee but submitting directly to the FACTS Grant & Aidprogram. Using your FACTS log-in, proceed to the Grant & Aid applicationtab on the FACTS website and follow the steps to apply and complete the2016-17 Grant & Aid Application. The financial assistance awarded to families is based on demonstratedfinancial need and the funds available to Saint Paul School. ALLapplications must be in the VERIFIED status (not submitted) AND re-enrollment fee must have been paid for financial aid to be granted.

The deadline for enrollment is Friday, April 15.

Saint Paul School will begin to render aid decisions the week of April 25th.

SCIENCE WEEK @ SPS

Next week our students will be focusing on howscience and science concepts across all areas of ourcurriculum. The importance of each subject in thisarea of study will be emphasized through examplesand fun coursework. Every grade is showcasing

special science projects in their classrooms on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 13th from1:30-2:30p. Middle School Science Fair projects will also be on display in theGym that afternoon and again at 6:00p for review and the announcement of thoseprojects progressing to the Regional Science Fair.

PJs & PUZZLESGRADE 4

On Wednesday, Grade 4 put together a human body puzzles as the start oftheir Science Week focus and project on the Human Body.After completing, they traced the body and each system on to a clearshower curtain. This week the class is focusing on the circulatory, digestiveand skeletal systems.

These body systems will be layered together to create a full-sized humanbody that will be on display for all to see during our Science Showcase:

Our students had theopportunity to ask questions afterher presentation and received tipsthat help her become a betterwriter.
