I didn't receive a single request to change times. Thank you so much for supporting Fr. Rich and I as we strive facilitate your family on their faith journey. As we prepare, we have read countless articles, watched many videos and even excerpts from books. We want you to know how much this means to us and your support is priceless. I am looking forward to seeing you next week! On another note, the protocols for how HNM will handle health issues at the school are changing. As soon as they are complete I will notify all the parents. Please click on the link for School Speak conference and sign your child up as soon as possible. The purpose for this Parent teacher conference is Student Learning Expectations (SLE).

HNM Marriage Ministry presents

BELOVED: Finding Happiness in Marriage “In 8 sessions, Beloved explores the essential realities of Marriage, dealing with the deepest spiritual, emotional, and practical aspects

of what the sacrament means for those preparing to get married as well as those who yearn for a richer married life. Through Scripture,

Tradition, and Church teaching, God’s plan for Marriage will come alive.

You’ll see firsthand how to experience the mystery, happiness, and joy of this sacrament—from that first “I do” through the rest of your

lives. Informative and inspirational, Beloved will help you live out the Sacrament of Marriage more profoundly, so that your love story

is drawn ever more into the greatest love story of all . . . God’s own love for us.”

DISCUSSION SERIES

“RESISTING HAPPINESS”

THURSDAY EVENINGS January 19th-26th, 2017

7-8:30pm Room 201

SECOND SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME John 1:29-34

REFLECTING ON THE WORD

John the Baptist connected his experience of the Spirit hovering over Jesus with his mission to serve as a baptizer. He was rewarded with the certainty that Jesus was indeed the one “who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.” Fearless John the Baptist! As wily and rough as he was depicted to be, he made known a beautiful, gentle truth: Jesus as the Son of God was announced by John to Israel.

……On the Way to Mass

Someone asks, “Whose disciple are you?” How would you respond to this question?

On the Way Home from Mass……

I wonder whether we would believe John the Baptist if he introduced Jesus today. Who announces Jesus today?

EUCHARISTIC MINISTER TRAINING CLASS

Let us know you'll join us! Contact Jan Martindale 909-296-5635
