ANNOUNCEMENTS & EVENTS PASTOR/DIRECTOR FOR CHILDREN AND ACTIVITIES - The church has approved this new position and we will be forming a search committee to fill this position. Each church member may nominate up to five individuals on the ballot provided in today’s program. After making your nomination selections, please place your ballot in the offering plate. Please be in prayer for this position and for the formation of this committee.

FBC Ministry Fair - Looking for a place to serve? Come to the Ministry Fair today and Sunday, August 6. Church ministry areas will have tables set up in the Welcome Center where you can sign up to serve or get more information.

Blessing of the Backpacks - We will have a Blessing of the Back-packs today in both services to pray over the students, teach-ers, administrators, and others (public, private or homeschool) returning to school.

Prayer Walk - Join us Wednesday, August 2 for a time of prayer walking at all school locations. We will meet at 5:30 pm in the Welcome Center and then disburse to either Murray City or Calloway County School campuses.

MidWeek @ First will begin with a promo night on Wednesday, August 9. We wil have a free cookout beginning at 5:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall and will have a time of introduction of all of our MidWeek small group options after the meal. All MidWeek studies will begin on Wednesday, August 16.

Fellowship Suppers will resume August 16 at 5:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Adult meals are $4 and children under 12 are $3. To help with set up and meal preparation, reservations are required. Please calll the church office by Monday, August 7 to make your reservation.

Copies of our Building Use Policies and Procedures for wed-dings and non-weddings are available today in the Welcome Center. If you have suggestions or changes that you think need to be addressed, please make necessary changes in red (with the wording as you think it needs to read). Email the revised documents to Jeremy (jhudgin@fbcmurray.org) or drop them off in the church office by Friday, August 11. The Campaign Building Use and Activities Committee will meet on Sunday, August 13 with the purpose of looking at these suggestions. The committee will make whatever changes they feel will best serve FBC moving forward. During the week of August 14–18, revised documents will be emailed to you and made available in the Welcome Center to be picked up. We will vote on the re-vised policies at our next monthly business meeting on Sunday, August 27.
