ThetraditionalgameConcentrationgiveschildrenachancetomatchlettersandstretchtheirvisualmemoryskills.Maketagboardcopiesofthelettercards(pages123–128)formatchinglowercasetouppercaseletters.Chooseafewmatchingpairs,perhapsfourtobegin.Placethesecardsface-downonatabletop;thenhavechildrentaketurnsflippingovertwocardsinsearchofamatchingpair.Whenoneisdiscov-ered,thefinderkeepsit.Cardsarereturnedtothefacedownpositioniftheydon’tmatch.Whenallthematcheshavebeendiscovered,addanadditionalmatchingpairofcardstothesetandplayagain!
