ID: Unique alphanumeric value to define the name of the document created Owner Type: Select a value from the drop down list based on whether you will be attaching the document to a shipment or invoice or order release id etc. In this example I am attaching the document with owner type as shipment. This means, I will be able to attach this document to shipment Id’s alone. If the same document needs to be attached to order release id’s or invoice id’s, another record for the same document should be created with a corresponding owner type Storage: Choose ‘Binary’

The document attachments are attached to objects as follows: Go to – Shipment Management > Shipment Management > Buy Shipments Search for Shipment ID, select Shipment, and perform Action of Business

Process Automation > Documents > Attach Documents Search for the Document and click “Attach”

• Size Limitation - While we were on Version 6.1.2, the Document Attachment size limitation was being ignored.

An SR was logged for this issue, which was fixed in 6.1.8. The Quick Patch that was installed (Quick Patch 16347188) was created from

the following Bug: Bug 16754514 - LIMIT ATTACHMENT SIZE NOT WORKING IN 6.1 • Limiting Visibility – On version 6.1.2, the Access Control List functionality to

prevent users from viewing Document Attachments is not working. This is a known Bug that is fixed in 6.3: Bug 14588431 - DOCUMENT - VIEW CONTENT ICON NOT WORKING.
