TRUTH: The 'treasure' of people's hearts and minds are 'hidden in the field' of Facebook. Therefore GO, buy a field God has laid on your heart! (Matt 13)

MAIN GOAL: To encourage people who have a heart for missions to start a gospel centered Facebook page and promote* it in the 10/40 window. Pick a nation; share your stories with the group.

*Creating a page and growing it organically is free and always will be, but I liken promoting a page to buying a field. Because what you are really buying is access to peoples hearts and minds to share the Truth of God's Word with them. That is priceless. It is like treasure hidden in a field. The amount you spend is completely up to your discretion. BUT take a look at how much you can buy for the cost of one Starbucks Latte!:

Note: We are not a part of any money transactions with your page. It is completely between you, Facebook, and the Lord. You initiate promoting your page through your personal Facebook Ads manager (there is a video tutorial below).

REACH: $.0005-.0016 per seed (post) per person. Think of this equivalent to giving a stranger a gospel tract.

Facebook is indeed a field with hidden treasure. If you spend $5, you can reach ~10,000 people in whatever country you choose. Just filter for English speakers or send something in their own language. For fun, let's say there are 1,000 people 'per acre' in the 10/40 field. So if you just spend $5, that would be like buying 10 acres of the field!

LIKES: There will be parts of the field you purchase that will like 'like' (receive and accept) the posts (God's Word) which you sow. Think of this equivalent to a stranger reading that gospel tract you gave them and 'liking it' / being open to receive more.

My job is to encourage you to "buy a field" that God has laid on your heart. It could be a particular nation or people group you have been praying for. Or maybe a nation have always wanted to visit. The amazing thing I have found is, on average it only costs $.01-.02 per 'like' in these countries that are least reached for the gospel (the 10/40 window pictured above). When someone decides to like (follow) your page, they are opening the door of their heart and mind to receive what you are sharing.

ENGAGE: I have found that on average, it only costs $.01-.05 per person that engages with you in some way. This could be by someone clicking on a particular post you send (to read it in depth), it could be someone liking a post you share, or maybe someone watching a video you promote. It can also be via people leaving comments on your post. This gives you the opportunity to respond to any questions they have and give them a reason for the hope that is in you (1 Peter 3:15).

(Think long and hard about what you want to call your page. If it is too preachy, people might put their guard up. Ask God to give you wisdom to the back door of their heart.

Page name suggestions:

Example: 'Healing Prayer'. Jesus heals people. Calling your page Healing Prayer and offering to pray for people if they are sick is a great way to love them. This will open the door to share the gospel as well.

Others name suggestions:

STARTER TIPS: Promote your page via likes first until you build a solid audience. Then promote posts to the whole nation.
