Our Shipping Schedule is as follows:

Orders placed after 8:45 a.m. Thursday and before 8:45 a.m. Monday will ship on Monday.

Orders placed between 8:45 a.m. Monday and 8:45 a.m. Tuesday will ship on Tuesday.

Orders placed between 8:45 a.m. Tuesday and 8:45 a.m. Wednesday will ship on Wednesday.

Only Overnight orders will ship on Thursdays if placed before 8:45 a.m. on Thursday.

Shipping

Wine orders will only be sent out on Mon-day, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Thursday is allowed for overnight delivery only. This will prevent your wine from waiting in the hands of the delivery service and will reduce the risk of non-temperature controlled stor-age facilities. We reserve the right to delay shipping if the weather will be harmful to the wine. We apologize, but we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.

Wine Pick-Up

All Sextant Wine Club Shipments will be available for pick-up beginning November 9th thru December 8th at 1653 Old Price Canyon Road, San Luis Obispo CA 93401 and at our Paso Robles location at 2324 West Highway 46, Paso Robles, CA 93446.

All shipments not picked up by December 8th will be shipped to the address on file during the week of December 16th. Please note; shipping charges will be applicable.

Note: All wines are sold in California and title passes to the buyer. We make no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship wine into any state outside of California. The buyer is solely responsible for shipment of wines. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your wine to you.

Rose petals merge with Bing cherries; tobacco leaves mingle with blackberries; herbs dance with dark plums. Fine whispers of sage, cedar, and cocoa add complexity to the velvety amalgam as well. Finally, the agile tannins integrate layers of flavors seamlessly towards a potent, but graceful and articulate finish. When the components of a wine come together for an epitome of flavor, texture, and balance, it can be so satisfying to slow the world down to savor the flavor.

2011 ‘Night Watch’ Proprietors Red BlendWhile this wine is full-bodied and bold, there’s an intricate and seamless composition which is the true indication of a masterful blend. Blackberries and raspberries with accents of dried cranberries offer the initial impression. As the profile opens up, the depth of flavor becomes apparent with plum sauce, licorice, nutmeg and mesquite. Hints of pomegranate and cinnamon also come to the fold. Kirsch and a dusting of alder provide raciness at the edges. Glossy tannins and vibrant acidity provide smooth and savory layering. While keen and expressive at the start, it is poised and nuanced in the persistent finish.

2010 ‘Passage’ GSMFrom the barren vine, to the springtime budding, to the leafy canopies that protect the colorful bunches, to the peak of ripeness at the harvest, grapes endure a growing season ready to be transformed into an elixir. Wine itself can be considered a passage. Accordingly, the 2010 Sextant Passage is an intense and lofty take on the virtues of Syrah-based blends. There’s a flurry of herbs and spices on the nose. Blackberries, raspberries, and boysenberries become evident on the palate. Fig notes combine with hints of cedar for a slightly earthy tinge on the lengthy finish.
