Today’s Fight: The A-10C provides all weather day and night close air support for coalition forces worldwide. The 23rd WG recently deployed two A-10 squadrons to Afghanistan covering 10 months, marking the first Active Duty A-10C combat deployment in history. The 23 WG also deployed Combat Search and Rescue assets and Security Forces to Iraq and Horn of Africa within the last year.
