The Church is all Sufficient
What a wonderful place is the church which our Savior, Jesus Christ, died for. Listed in
Matt. 16:18, Jesus said, “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I w ill
build My church and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”
Please allow me to list some pertinent reasons why the church is all-sufficient.
--If you desire forgiveness of your sins, this unspeakable blessing may be found in the
body of Christ which is the church. “And he put all things under His feet and gave Him to
be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in
all (Eph. 1:22-23).
--If you are looking for wholesome society, remember that the church is God’s society,
not a perfect people... but the best people on earth.
--If you desire to look up to your creator and preserver in worship and adoration, re
member that the church assembles with regularity in order that worshipful souls may find
an avenue of expression.
-- If, in your sympathetic soul, there is an urge to speak helpful words and render noble
deeds in service to humanity, remember that the church is the proper sphere for your activi-
ties. “And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giv-
ing thanks to God the Father through Him.” (Col. 3:17). Christ is the head of the church,
who is the beginning, the first born from the dead, that in all things He may have
the preeminence” (Col. 1:18).
--If you are interested in your soul’s eternal security, you can find salvation in the
church: for Christ is…”the Savior of the body” (Eph. 5:23).
Our total spiritual needs are met in the church. How blessed we are as God’s children to
possess such a refuge.
Charles D. Beebe
The Church of Tomorrow...God has always used young people to the fullest
when allowed to do so. Just think about these facts for a few moments. Thomas Jeffer-
son was 33 when he wrote much of our Constitution. Mozart, at age 16, had his own op-
eras performed. At 27, Patrick Henry was a national hero. Alexander the Great, won his
first battle at age 16. Alexander Hamilton was only 19 as he set the finances of a nation.
But the main reason we are interested in young people is because of their souls. They are
not the church of tomorrow. THEY ARE THE CHURCH OF TODAY.” By J.R Chism

New Years Get Together at West Side
December 31st from 7:12:01
We will all join together for a fun filled, energy packed, whopper
of a evening to welcome in the new year. Be ready to sing, play
games and cards, eat treats and be in the best of company--our
brethren in Christ.
You are invited to bring finger foods and your own choice of
games and fun.
See you there!
I AM ONE...what can I do to make a differ-
ence? Pray for the elders, the deacons, the
preacher. Resolve to attend every service
and be on time. Participate joyfully in your
praise to the Lord. Speak positively about
the Lord’s church. If it’s not uplifting, don’t
say it. Be aware of your influence on others.
Think of one person you want to lead to
Christ. Pray on.
