The Parish Budget for Fiscal Year 2010 (7/1/09 - 6/30/10) is based on the giving of our faith family for Fiscal Year 2009. The portion of our budget contributed in envelopes, checks and loose cash is $1,550,000 or $29,808 per week. Thank you for your continuing generosity. Contributions for the 19th weekend of the fiscal year were $32,895.00. In the 19th week of our fiscal year, our budgeted goal for ministry programs and ordinary operating expense is $566,346.00 and our collections are $604,741.00 We encourage everyone to prayerfully consider using the Capital Improvement Envelope in your packet to help recover the renovation cost of Saint Magdalene Center.
May God bless you in your sacrificial giving. Lord, help me move from comfort to sacrifice.
How shall I make a return to the Lord for all the good He has done for me? (Psalm 116:12)

PARISH MISSION STATEMENT

of Mary to continue the mission of Jesus Christ by ministering to all.

CATHOLIC CAMPAIGN FOR HUMAN DEVELOPMENT Next weekend, November 21st and 22nd we will take up the annual Catholic Campaign for Human Development Collection. Out of your donations, 25% stays in the Archdiocese of Santa Fe for local projects which help strengthen our communities. For example, the Pajarito Mesa Community Development Project is a grassroots effort to organize and bring basic services such as water to this extremely poor community on the southwest mesa of Albuquerque.
Several years ago I visited this community and was amazed at the level of poverty there. Since then, there has been an effort to develop the health and living standards by grading roads and bringing water to the people, which finally arrived in the spring of 2008. The other 75% of the collection goes to national initiatives to alleviate poverty in America. Thank you for your efforts to help those in need right here in our own country, now more than ever.
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS Thanks to the Knights of Columbus for their great appeal to form the council here at Annunciation Parish. The response was tremendous with over 100 men expressing interest in the Knights of Columbus. Congratulations to all the newly inducted who have been and will be received in the coming days. I look forward to working with these new Knights in the service to the parish and the Church at large. God bless you all!
MINISTRY FAIR THANKS Thanks to everyone involved in our jubilee year ministry fair. It was a great success as we displayed the vast number of ministries we have to serve our community. So many parishioners, especially new members, expressed their delight in learning of our many ministries and opportuni-ties to serve. We had more responses and offers to serve than ever before. Thanks again for all of the hard work offered for the good of the parish and larger Church.
FIRST RECONCILIATION Please remember to pray for our young ones making their First Reconciliation and celebrating the sacrament for the first time.
CONFIRMATION Adult Confirmation was celebrated on Monday, November 9th at Holy Family Parish. The adults that were confirmed from our parish are: Elizabeth ANNE Black, Gabriela CATHERINE Gray, Sara CATHERINE Lucero and Alisan THERESA Napier. May we all be reminded to respond to the Holy Spirit who makes the church come alive with grace!
