YPA13 call 1 Youth as Agents of Change and Resilience: Thirteenth Youth Peace Ambassador (YPA13) Training Workshop 3-7 November 2016 Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP), Bataan, the Philippines. On behalf of the organizers the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP), Bataan, the Philippines, the American University of Sovereign Nations (AUSN), USA, and Eubios Ethics Institute, we invite you to support and participate in the forthcoming Thirteenth Youth Peace Ambassador (YPA32) Training Workshop, to be held 3 – 7 November 2016 in Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP). You are welcome to join people of all ages to reflect on what Peace means, and share and learn skills and wisdom that may inspire our world to live more peacefully. We will have activities for people of all ages. You are welcome to display materials and posters related to the theme, but this event is not to promote any one religion, ideology, political agenda, or tribe. We will have people from around the world, and of many affiliations, who share a heart to meet others and learn from each other so that we can build a better future.

CultureFoundationandothershaveorganizedelevenYouthPeaceAmbassador(YPA)andeightYouthLookingBeyondDisaster (LBD)TrainingWorkshopsacrosstheworldwith900youthandyoungprofessionalsfromover50countries.Nomatterwhatyourcircumstancesorageyouarewelcometojoin.Together,theparticipantsidentifyissuesthatcanpromoteacultureofpeace.Sofartheyhavedeveloped350actionprojectspromotedatmakingadifferenceintheircommunities.1Outcomes:Participantswillbenefitmostfromdevelopingtheirownactionplanduringtheworkshop.Thiscouldbeanactivitythatyouarealreadyinvolvedin,orsomethingnew.Thefacilitatorswillassisteveryonetodevelopanachievableplan.WehopeallparticipantswillalsopresentaLBDorYPAactionplandevelopedwith thementoringof the facilitatorsattheWorkshopduringtheevent.Inthepresentationoftheactionplanthatyoucandevelopyou can join togetherwithother person(s) up to 3 per team.
