Third (3 rd ) Circular Event International conference on Ceramics, Glass and Refractories – Emerging Innovations (CGREI- 2016) is being organized along with the 80 th annual session of Indian Ceramic Society, 68 th annual session of All India Pottery Manufacturers’ Association (AIPMA) and 42 nd annual session of Indian Institute of Ceramics (IIC). The conference is envisaged to provide a platform for understanding the major bottlenecks in ceramic technologies and to bring R&D and academics to meet the current and future challenges of the ceramic industries. Technical sessions will be organized with resourceful presentations and interactions by eminent speakers in the field for the immense benefit of the tec hnologists and scientists from ceramics and other multidisciplinary subjects. A one day workshop on “ Advanced Ceramic Processing and Fabrication” will precede the international conference.

International conference on Ceramics, Glass and Refractories – Emerging Innovations (CGREI-2016) is being organized along with the 80th annual session of Indian Ceramic Society, 68th annual session of All India Pottery Manufacturers’ Association (AIPMA) and 42nd annual session of Indian Institute of Ceramics (IIC). Workshop will be arranged at ARCI, Hyderabad anautonomous R&D Institute of Department of Science andTechnology (DST), Govt. of India, set up with a missionof unique, novel and techno-commercially viabletechnologies in the area of advanced materials. Workshopwill focus in the morning session on the theoretical andinteractive sessions on practical issues on the state of artceramic fabrication techniques such as Pressure slipcasting, SPS processing, Non oxide ceramic processing,Ceramic coatings and product development. Afternoonsession will be dedicated to demonstration of thecomponent shaping/coatings on pilot scale facilities ofthe Centres of Excellence at ARCI by the experts withhands on experience in the field .
