Ÿ Applicants are required to fill up the online

a p p l i c a t i o n f o r m a v a i l a b l e a t

Form along with the qualification documents and

academic certificates. If educational documents of

qualifying examination are not in English, it is

mandatory to produce translated and notarized

copies in English.

Ÿ After admission and scholarship eligibility

assessment for the program applied for, the

Provisional Admission Letter (PAL) will be

electronically sent to the applicant.

Ÿ After receiving the PAL, to confirm the admission

and scholarship offered, applicant shall transfer the

part of fee as mentioned on PAL (minimum deposit

before Visa), through any bank to MMDU, using bank

account details mentioned on PAL. This fee shall be

part of first year tuition fee.

Ÿ The applicant shall send scan copy of the fee transfer

proof (Wire transfer/SWIFT transfer receipt) and

signed Undertakings to the University.

Ÿ After Confirmation of fee transferred and fulfilment

of all the conditions as mentioned in the PAL, Letter

for Visa or Final Admission Letter will be issued.

Ÿ Applicant should apply for Student Visa at the nearest

Indian High Commission/ Indian Embassy with Letter for

Visa and other required documents (Not applicable to

Nepalese and Bhutanese students).

Ÿ After getting the Student Visa, the student should book

air tickets for New Delhi or Chandigarh airport and share

the air tickets at least seven days before reaching the

campus and shall report at the MMDU campus before

the last date of reporting as mentioned on the MMDU

website.

Ÿ For further details, applicants are required to go through

the Information Booklet for the academic year 2019-20

issued by the MM Trust, available on MMDU website

(www.mmumullana.org).

Ÿ In case any Information given by the applicant during

admission process is found to be incorrect, this shall

entail automatic cancellation of admission besides

rendering him/her liable to such action as the University

may deem proper. Admission to MMDU and continuance

on its rolls are subject to the provisions of the MMDU and

other rules & instructions as may be applicable from time

to time.

ADMISSION PROCESS

THE CAMPUS RULES AND CODE OF CONDUCTSŸ University rules are available on its websites, which

must be followed by the students in immaculate

manner.

Ÿ It is mandatory to maintain minimum 75%

attendance in each subject in odd/even/summer

semester failing which the student shall be detained

in that particular subject(s). In exceptional

circumstances relaxation of 10% may be granted by

t h e m a n a g e m e n t o n v a l i d g ro u n d s o n

recommendation of the Dean/ Director of the school

concerned.

Ÿ Student who has been detained due to shortage of

attendance in a particular subject shall not be

allowed to appear in term end examination in that

subject. He/she will be required to study that subject

in summer semester again and deposit additional

fee as per norms. In case any student appears by

default, who in fact has been detained by the school,

his/her result shall be treated as null and void.

Ÿ Students are also advised to maintain utmost

expected discipline in and outside the University

Campuses. Disturbance of tranquillity of the

campuses in particular and society in general,

through any means shall be treated as an act of

indiscipline and suitable disciplinary action shall be

taken against the defaulting students.

Ÿ Students are also advised to dress appropriately,

while in campuses, as per demand of the occasion.

Ÿ Drinking alcohol, taking drugs, damaging University

Property, indulging in any kind of violence, misbehaving

with fellow students/teachers/staff, ragging etc. are

included in the list of undesirable activities and

constitute the moral turpitude. Very strict action

including suspension/rustication from the rolls of the

University may be taken against the students who are

found indulging in any of the above mentioned or any

other undesirable act.

Ÿ Students must follow the fee payment schedule and pay

Tuition fees, Hostel Fees, Examination Fees and any

other dues, within the stipulated time.

Ÿ All Boarders/Hostellers must follow the Hostel/Mess

Rules and must not indulge in any kind of damage to the

Hostel/Mess/University property failing which strict

action per University Rules shall be taken against the

defaulters including suspension/rustication from

University/Hostel.
