Transcript of Things I Carry
Key to the outside of my classroom on the first floor of my school. Used to be the only key to my room until ...
... someone tried to break into my classroom, and so I needed another key to secure the media lab inside my classroom.
Elevator key at my school that I use only when I absolutely have to. Our school has springs under it, and the elevator rests on a pool of water most of the day. That doesn’t seem like a good thing. Besides, it’s been known to get stuck.
House key. Location, location, location.
I don’t use this one. It’s a secret.
English department office on the fourth floor of my school. Since I don’t make the trek up much to the top floor (see #3), I’ve only used this key maybe four times.
What I don’t have in my pocket today:car keys. Since I walk to work (see #4), the fact that I live three doors down from my school also explains why I don’t have a wallet in my pocket.
