THIN TURRET TOOLING: The original tool style was developed by Strippit®. A modified version was later introduced by

Amada. C.E. Tooling produces interchangeable tools and components for all major tooling variations. Basically all tool styles developed for the small station (up to 1¼” punch size range) are universally compatible. It’s the larger 2” and 3 ½” stations that are not compatible. Examples of turret differences: Strippit® Style 3 ½” dies are .85 thick where Amada style are 1.19 thick. Strippit® style Strippers are 4” Dia. where Amada style are 3 ¾”. The Strippit® style 3 ½” punch has a ½” thread and a .25 dowel pin, where one of the Amada styles of 3 ½” punches, have M12

INSERT CHANGING INSTRUCTIONS: While holding die base,

pull knurled portion of the insert plate apart from the die base. If replacing with new insert, first check that I.D. hole in the stripper plate, is large enough to allow insert to go through. Insert the

Insert Plate into die assuring alignment of the pin extending out of the die base to mate with one of

two holes in the stripper plate. To keep the die base in good working order and prolong its life,

periodically add grease to the shoulder bolts and the rubber “O”-ring in the center I.D. hole.
